Our Night

by Sarah   Feb 15, 2005

My hands on your body,
Our lips oh so near.
I didn't care that I had him,
I wanted you to hold dear.

Our hearts were pouding,
Were we sure this was right?
Did we even care?
Tonight was OUR night.

No interuptions so far,
There we were sort of alone.
Under those blankets,
Your true colors shone.

Our lips reached eachothers,
All the sparks flew.
No matter what they said,
I knew this was true.

But now looking back,
It all seems a blur.
This disease I have, heartbreak,
I know there's no cure.
