My Best Friend

I know this girl,
Shes lost within her mind.
Shes looking for something,
She'll never find.

Shes looking for a guy,
One that will be just right.
Shes trying to pull away from getting hurt,
But shes not going to win this fight.

She tells me that shes
Giving up on love.
She tells me that she
Wants to go to the heavens up above.

Shes got her heart broken
A number of times.
She just wants to forget,
About all those guys.

"I just want to leave"
Thats what she always says.
But for her none of this
S*** ever ends.

Shes my best friend,
Shes like a sister to me.
This whole poem is dedicated to her,
And I wont let my best friend leave.

I want her to be okay,
But she keeps breaking down.
When I look at her face,
All I see is a huge sad frown.

I wish I could fix,
Everything thats wrong with my best friend.
But I dont want to hurt
Her more in the end.

I love my best friend,
More then anyone else.
I'd give up anything for her,
Even sacrificing myself.

I hope she knows I love her,
With all of my heart.
And I hope that no-one comes between us,
And tries to tear us apart.

If she ever left me,
I'd cry night and day.
And everything in this poem,
Is everything I meant to say.
