I'm sitting in class
thinking about you
wondering what to say

till school gets out

I get home
as fast as i can
i walked so fast
i practically ran

I reach the door
i hear the phone
no ones home

my heart starts to race
i walk around the house
in a fast pace

just us 2 standing side by side
the way things are suppose to be

We talk for hours
seems like days
i love all the things
that you say

Time finally up
you say you got to go
my heart beat stops
my words say no

please don't leave
i love your voice
i beg and plead

I finally give in
i let you go
even though its not for long
but time seems to go by slow

As i wait
i start to think
I stare at the phone
i dare not blink

I wait all night
for you to call
but the phone dont ring
nothing at all

Its getting late now
and still nothing from you
i start to wonder
what wrong i did to you

Maybe your busy
or maybe your not
did i upset you
maybe you just forgot.
