Open your eyes

by Julian   Feb 17, 2005

A truce to find that hides

Along the slopes of the other side

To cry, to stop, to only just try

To find what you’re looking for

Look in the center, deep in the core

If you just open your eyes

Everything is invisible to your eyes

Can’t you even just try?

To find what your looking for?

Not to let happen like the past before?

All the tears that hid inside your eyes

After the years, after you cried, after your 1st try

But all of this never holds

Everything passes like the days of old

Trying again. Or to never try

Making amends. Just open your eyes

To define fate and everything it seems

Not finding out whatever it means

Is crucial to the naked eye

Why not make your feelings lie?

To you and everything you like?

To pass them aside…like the speed of light

All the tears that hid inside your eyes

After the years, after you cried, after your 1st try

Try again. Or to never try

Making amends. Just open your eyes

In the darkness that lies

You’ll see it, if you just open your eyes
