Abuse the form, the multitude of poets cried
(I call them poets though you may disagree
Though what they write are poems which you may not deride)
\"The form is all I have,\" the others plea

You see there is a conflict - that is plain to see
The some the others and the in-between
Why they care so much is still a mystery
I don\'t want to write this line.

What makes poetry different from prose?
What\'s wrong with prose (who knows? who knows?)
Surely prose too can be an artform of infinite and delicate description and precision, which can take on an almost \'poetic\' quality (which means to say \'it\'s good\'.

I didn\'t abuse the form, I destroyed it.
Which is down to laziness, a bit.
(These rhymes are also meaningless laziness, by the way,
and poetry an exercise to fritter the time away)

Did I mean what was in the brackets?
And can I only couplet with \'rackets\'.

To write in iambic pentameter,
is very hard when at its easiest.

So why bother?

I\'d better finish here.

Or here?
