My Opposite

by dandy   Feb 22, 2005

Breath of wind, droplets of rain.
Dancing on the window pane.

Look into the dark, through the glass.
Until this feeling comes to pass.

A blurry reflection I do see;
On the other side, looking back at me.

My opposite looks in my eyes,
and says "quit trying, kind words are lies."

My opposite is very bold.
Just like the weather, her attitude's cold.

She's so hard-core, while I'm so lost.
If I change, what will it cost?

I figure why not, it couldn't hurt.
And so my attitude converts.

I'm now on the other side of the glass.
Seeing the other me, looking back.

I've turned into my opposite,
and you know, it feels alright.
The sweet kind me is gone,
Because I'm angry tonight.
