MY heart sheds a tear

I once gave my heart away
It was returned the very next day
the shattered pieces of my heart
cut so deep, and left me scars
as reminders of my past
proving that love will never last

If you could look into my soul
and take a snap shot of my heart
it would be the strangest thing
to see a heart that doesn't bleed
but instead it sheds a tear
and wishes it could disappear

these tears are not of joy
but just come from the pain
its not seen by anybody
its held deep within
i didn't know you can get this lonely
why does no one want to know my name
