Regrets

by Jean Ann Artero   Feb 23, 2005

I pushed you away
I didn't even want to care
But you still loved me
And you were always there

I didn't want to love you
And I didn't want to believe you really loved me
You, your love and your care
Were the things I refused to see

I paid no attention to you
But you didn't complain once at all
Instead of catching you
I insisted to let you fall

So I'm sorry for all I did wrong
And for treating you like dirt
And now I want you back
Even though you're someone I really hurt
