I don't want to only know
You at your strongest times
There's more to you than that.

I don't want to only know
The happy side of you
Even though I'd rather you be happy.

Tears never seem weak
I'm your girl
I'm supposed to hold you close when you cry.

I don't want to know
Just that you love me
I want to know you need me too
That you want me too.

I don't want to know only
The good about you
I want to know the bad too.
