A Day Without you

by Bill   Feb 27, 2005

I sit her missing you,like
A kit misses the summer breeze.
The longing fills my heart,like
Gray clouds fill the sky

A day without you is,like
A playground without children laughter
An empty swing that spiders span.
A rusted slide in winters grasp.

Without you there is no sun in the sky
No warmth to embrace my soul.
No soft lips to kiss my cheeks
Or sweet kisses to feed my lust.

Without you there is no beauty to admire
Nor nature to enthrall my heart.
A wind swept heart that's cold and dark
Empty eye that wait for passion.

You are the sunlight in the sky
and the beauty in the spring
The romance in the sunset embrace
the oceans of my dream at night.

Warm winds that caress me
And chase away the winter chill.
When I am in your arms,
Submerged my soul in your love

You are the beauty of the stars at night
When I look into your hazel eyes
The flicker of the firelight
How you make my heart dance.

You are the Aurora Borealis in my heart
The passion that shines in my eyes
The woman that I will love forever
And cherish every day together.

You are why I dream at night
The lust that fills my days
The beauty I see in the morning light.
The reason I rush home every night

The one who makes my heart soar like a kite?
The reason I wake up so happy
The serenity when I sleep at night.
The one that makes my life so right
The reason there is love.
