The Way We Feel

As I sit here, thinking about you, i cant get you off my mind.

After what you said, it will be a little different every time we talk.

You told me that I'm still on your mind. That I left an impression on you.

You still think of me sometimes. When you said this, you baffled me.

How could my ex tell me that he still likes me a little?! How could he say that he cares for me, but we should be friends?!

How could I leave an impression on a guy? For him to still care for me made me tell him how i really feel, which in fact was the same.

Now, when we talk, I'll smile, inside and out, because now I know that when you smile and pull me close there is still a flame, never to go away........
