Time Spent Well to be Wasted

We used to talk a lot
But now the words don't show
We used to hug a lot
but my arms our bare like bones

We used to smile
And laugh through our days
But the clouds have set in
And we are stuck in a thick layer of haze

Now the days pass by to fast
And the connection isn't there
And i cant even get close enough
To even smell your hair

My life is lonely
Without you there
Its like apart of me has died
And the memory's are only there

But memory's don't always last
Thats why i miss you so
And all the things we did
And how we never used to let go

What happened between us
Did my poem scare you off
Did i move to fast
Or did you just get lost

Well thanks for your time
It was worth the wait
Ad least i can remember somethings
Even though it never turned more than a date
