Working days in Jack-In-The-Box

So it 's one of those working days in Jack-In-The-Box
Looking and listening to every tick of the clock
I come in with those beautiful catwalks trying to find your cute-looking smile
and there right behind the grill station, i see it shine

Oh, it's just one of those working days in Jack-In-The-Box
Waiting all along and there in my heart I hear some knocks
How can I ever resist that look in your eyes
that everytime I see you, in my hand, I spill all the fries!

When it's time for me to punch my card
I hear the manager screaming and his face's so hard
I walk up to the "back-up" and pass your way
I know my day has started seeing you so gay

I press the keys on one of the cash registers
trying to greet so gayly to all the customers
they say all of their special orders
but when I look at the screen, what they said, I hardly can remember

Oh, no, I've got another complain
I'm not kidding and for sure I'm not playing
Then I know I just got to run
'Cos in a way, I've got another refund

Well 'cos I keep thinking on how to approach you
I know time's running out and I've to get over you
but when I look at you wrapping the hamburgers
I see those girls who like you near the grill station's freezers

I know I've got to smile to get your attention
but it's just so hard 'cos I'm in another dimension
Well, let's just say that this is their day
but tomorrow I pray, they've got nothing to say!

I got to go to the "back-up" when it's busy
too many orders that make me shaky
Whenever I turn and turn, it makes me feel dizzy
Oh, everything's just driving me crazy!

Sometimes I mistakenly cancel the order
time to call but I forgot the number
'cos I know that you're just near not far away some blocks
and I just realized it's just one of those working days with you in Jack-In-The-Box!

Dedicated to my one and only Sammy B. Flores
