Too fast

by Nick   Mar 2, 2005

We went fast at first, moved about the steps,
Your love is blinding, it gives off an evil hex.

I'm so into you, and I don't understand,
Right now I am forever your strong man.
I'm your everything, your sun your shine,
You are my all but yet you're still not mine.

How could this be I do not know,
The truth finally hit me with a deafening blow.
The truth is here and here to show,
We went too fast when we should've took it slow.

I'm now sitting here with my head in my hands,
You're still on the field as I sit in the stands.
I'm left alone with a shattered heart,
You left me and tore my whole world apart.

I guess this is what happens when you don't care enough,
When you flaunt your feelings while your whole game's a bluff.
Take your time and keep your mind straight,
So the one you loved you don't end up to hate.
Make sure you know what you want,
Or the painfull memories will always be given chance to haunt.
