You

by Mandy-Rae   Mar 9, 2005

When I think of you,
I can feel the adrenaline rush through my body.
I can't count the nights I went sleepless because of you.
When I hear your name,
I look around in desperation to find you.
When I realize you are not there,
I feel depression all around me.
When I see you,
My knees grow weak.
You know you are responsible for these feelings,
These feelings I have for you,
For only you.
All I want to know is,
Do I make you feel this way, too?
Do the butterflies in your stomach take you away?
Away to a higher place,
A place of happiness,
A place that knows no solitude.
This place knows no evil,
No revenge.
The only thing this place knows,
Is the affection only two people know.
No one else.
Just them.
Alone.
Together.
Only you can save me from loneliness,
You have the power, the control,
If you desire,
You can have me.
