A Nameless Horror

by Elizabeth Ann   Mar 9, 2005

In the shadows of the city I exhaled, and with that my first breath of winter I extended.
Within a stilled moon as pale beneath my frozen terror, I stood immobile cast in a safe and lonely dusk.

My senses as livid while aware…locked inside my damned subconscious where I’ve been chained. To an undetermined hell has gone before me.
Where din has captured hope and left my freedom tamed.

Silence…this realm of tears my companion, and I cry before my closing will to convince me that I’m dead. And I must remain in this horror…one now as nameless as I.
