Pirates Swoop

There is an island
Not far from here found
And on that island
A king was crowned

Pirates he hated
And he swore all would die
If a single one dared
To cross his sight

But Pirates Swoop
Always drank beer
They didn't listen
So they didn't hear

A young one evaded
The only one who lived
He fell in love with the princess
And gifts he did give

She loved him too
So they secretly wed
God bless us all
The minister said

The king was so angry
The queen was so sad
But the newlywed couple
Were indeed glad

The princess bore a child
And she loved her a lot
But the king and the pirate
still constantly fought

The pirate was murdered
He and his daughter lay dead
The princess was mourning
Curse you! she said

She died a week later
Out of sadness they say
But now pirate and princess
together they lay

Some say you can still hear
The pirate and king
Yelling at each other
As the owl flaps its wings

They say that at night
When the owl starts to fly
Someone on the island
Mysteriously dies

Don't believe it? ok
I didn't untill
The owl spread its wings
And now I lie still

I love my poor pirate
For the princess is I
The curse I lay on the island
Still makes people die.
