Cut

by chris belcher   Mar 15, 2005

A cut here and a cut there,
ho one else will really care,
in all life's games I've tried and failed,
and all my troubles have unveiled,
everyone else would point and laugh,
but they don't know the half,
the pain shouts like a baby cry,
its redder than the reddest sky,
thicker than city water,
i shall not stand at gods alter,
that cut was the last one,
my days were oner in the sun,
all life's despair are deaths despair,
all my life was so unfair,
here i am in the depths of hell,
its like a fall i never fell,
in all my life they told me not to,
so i told them it was all i could do,
no more scars no more pain,
no more standing in the rain,
i didn't use a gun,
but my life was done.
