Awesome poem! But you have to realise I'm sure this person understands that you didn't and don't need to be perfect, I'm sure they love you the way you are. Everyone makes a decision in their life usually more than one that they will regret but it's our true friends who stick around whilst we accept the consequences. I hope all is well for you.
