A vampire's curse

by shae r   Mar 22, 2005

A face so white and filled with fear
Eyes terribly still and wet with tears
Lips so red and icy cold
He looked so young yet seemed old

He was very good looking
His charms lured me in
A small gentle kiss
Seemed like such a huge sin

He held me close
I was under his spell
He bit my neck
And to the ground I fell

He bent near
And whispered the words
“Forgive me please
For i'm under a curse”

He picked me up
And he flew me away
In his lair for ever
I am now to stay

There’s a new girl arriving every night
It seems to be getting worse
He longs for true love’s first kiss
In order to break the curse

He wishes not be a vampire
But something more loving and kind
But in order to become this
True love he must first find

He’ll continue going out at night
And searching from above
There’s no use running if you see him coming
Just hope to god that you’re his love
