Love in my world

by JASON   Mar 23, 2005

ASK ME ABOUT LOVE, YOU WON’T LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR.
I’LL PAINT YOU A PICTURE; YOU WON’T LIKE WHAT YOU SEE!
THIS DARK, UNLOVED, DESPICABLE HEART OF MINE
ONLY SPITS VENOM IN EVERY DIRECTION
LIKE NONE YOU’VE EVER SEEN OR FELT.
YOU CAN’T EXPECT THAT I’LL CHANGE,
YOU CAN’T TAME THIS RAGE THAT’S BEEN UNLEACHED.
JUST AVOID MY PATH, AND EXCEPT MY DISGUST.
TRY TO ANTICIPATE AND THINK OF ME OTHERWISE,
YOU’LL REGRET THE DAY MY VENOM WAS INJECTED IN YOU.
IT’LL SNEAK UP ON YOU, SUFFOCATING YOUR HEART TO DEATH.
FIST ALL BALLED UP, QUINCHING TO HOLD ON.
EYES BURNING LIKE THE DEPTH OF HELL,
FROM TEARS THAT FEEL LIKE RAZOR BLADES,
SLICING TROUGH YOUR FACE.
SOUL SCREAMING TO BE REVIVED,
RELENTLESSLY STRUGGLING TO GIVE UP ON LOVE.
PRAYERS UNANSWERED, AS THOSE OF MINE,
WHEN I WENT TROUGH MY REMORSEFUL CHANGE.
ENDLESS NIGHTS TOSSING AND TURNING,
THOUGHTS SO CLUTTERED YOU WOULD HATE TO DREAM.
BODY SO EXHAUSTED, DRAINED FROM THE VENOM,
DEVASTATED BY THIS CHANGE,
TILL FINALLY, THIS CHANGE IS COMPLETE.
WELCOME TO MY WORLD AND WHAT I THINK OF LOVE!
