You and your trend

by Kristina Eby   Mar 25, 2005

These kids at school they think they know me
i hear what they say i even see
i try ignore what they think and say
my mom always told me it would be okay
i believed what she told me and knew she wouldn't lie
she was there for me whenever i would cry
my life may not be perfect for what really is
my parents aren't married that i really miss
my dad dislikes me and puts me down
but i don't let his words make me drown
its the people at school that hurt me most
sometimes my old best friends walk bye me like I'm a ghost
i write everything down and put it in a pile
if someone read it I'm afraid they'd laugh and smile
they read stuff these cruel kids have said
they read how i like to cut right before i go to bed
i hear the dares all the pretty girls make
"go up to her and ask her out on a fake date"
they don't know how i go home and cry
they don't know how badly i wish to die
so think about the person you really are
don't taunt and tease for you might cause a kid to have a new scare
don't talk shit on someone you call your friend
don't be like everyone else because its the trend
be who are you and as nice as you can be
for you never know but what you say might just kill me.

(pleasse comment it means alot to me)
