She could do it...but not over him

by Kiki   Mar 29, 2005

This poem is long, but I've been told that is is very good so please read it all.

She looks at it,
She stares at it,
She reaches out to grab it,
Now she has it in her hand.
She looks right threw the bottle.
She thinks about him,
About all the things he has done to her,
All the tears she's cried over him.
She takes the top off,
She looks at it aging knowing that this could do it,
She turns her head and pores it down the drain.
She turns back and sees that there is still enough poison to kill her.
She sees his picture by her bed,
Then wonders how he would feel if she were dead.
She knows it could not hurt him as much as he is hurting her right now.
She looks at the bottle one last time,
She pores the rest out.
She thinks about what she almost did as she drops the bottle and walks trod her bed.
She picks his picture up and throws it against the wall.
She's glad she didn't kill her self,
Because killing the love she has from him will mean much more.
