A Demon Named I

by Emma Carnage   Mar 29, 2005

Although I do not believe
In Satan, I swear
Something came to my bathroom
And joined me in there

As it looked up
It's eyes drove to my soul
It stared so hard
That it burned a great hole

I could not look away
For fear that if I would
This demonly monster
Would tear the flesh it could

Eyes that stared at me
So very blood shot
Sunken and swollen
From what, I know not

I soon looked away
And the demon now lost
This thing in my mirror
Made me pay a great cost

It took blood and flesh
Yet another small bite
And this demon soon
Will be growing in height

My little demon
It hides in my skin
Waiting for the night
When I just won't win

*this one didn't turn out too great i think. i was too focused on making it rhyme and having every other line have the same amount of syllables. it's hard to do.*
