True friend

* OK guys and girls, i know so far all of my poems have been about love and heartbreak so i decided to dedicate this poem to one of my very best friends Becky, she's my strength and one of the greatest people you'll ever meet... this is about a different kind of love... friendship*

a true friend is someone to rely on,
someone who's always there,
a true friend is someone who helps you,
through all your pain and despair,

a true friend is someone who loves you,
despite you letting them down,
a true friend is someone who can forgive you,
even when you make them frown,

a true friend is someone you trust,
until the very end,
a true friend is someone you can talk to,
about loving your boyfriend,

a true friend is someone who understands,
even when your words don't seem to make sense,
a true friend is someone who can relax you,
when life's problems make you tense,

a true friend is someone you can run to,
when your whole worlds upside down,
a true friend is someone who'll hold you steady,
when you're entire life's spinning round,

a true friend is all this and more,
someone on whom you can depend,
a true friend is you Becky,
for eternity and on, for always, forever friends!
