My definition of love...

Love is something special,
something to hold onto for forever and a day,
something to comfort you when you're troubled,
something to help you see your way,

love is something to treasure,
something to make you smile when you are sick,
something to protect you when your being hurt,
something that knows when you need a kick,

love is something worth waiting for,
something to take slow and steady,
something to tell you painful truths,
something that knows when you are ready,

love is something to feel,
something to heighten all your senses
something that isn't visible to the naked eye,
but still breaks down your defenses,

my definition of love is complicated,
not easy to understand,
so I'll try again to tell you,
in the most simple way i can...

love is something to give and show,
every single day,
Jake you are my definition of TRUE love,
in every single way!!!
