Can't Save Me

by marla   Apr 4, 2005

Dear love I see you standing there.
In the mirror with an unclear stare.
Why are you gone again
to the schizophrenic world
inside your head?

You claimed you loved me
with the red and black rose.
But now I only see
the tears that nobody knows.

My suicidal mind
has slowly departed from sight
but now you've crossed the line
and I have lost the fight.

I see my paper heart
which you crumpled into the dark.
How could you be so heartless
and leave me in the darkness?

And can you see the razor blade,
the silver shine against day;
Because you made me, you MADE ME
and now you can't save me.

I love this.....it was amazing. I loved how it flowed and all the emotions.
