In one moment
That counts
because you will remember

The one that counts

But what’s with the other ones
The other moments
That counted before
That moment
In your life
In your memory

Aren’t there many of
These moments
That count
In your life & memory ?
Don’t they count ?

Sometimes it seems
So clear that
That moments
That seem unimportant
Are the ones that count
In our mind & memory

Like the boyfriend
Who gives you a kiss
When you awake
In the morning
When it counts

Like the cute girl
Who presents you
A wonderful flower
On the street
In the midday
When it counts

Like the friends
Who surprise you
With a great birthday party
In the evening
When it counts

Because they all count
In our mind and soul
These moments
The unimportant ones
And the important ones
They are here to remember us
To make it count more often
