Serenity

I sit here quietly
Gazing at the endless horizon
The waters of the ocean shimmer
Glittering like scattered diamonds

The sun lowers little by little
Illuminating exquisite colors
Painting parts of the heavenly sky
As different colors merge together

The sound of the gentle waves
Brings peace to my mind and heart
The lovely view that comes to sight
Can be seen as a piece of art

From this place of serenity
I pray to the angels above
Hoping they can grant my wish
And bring to you my undying love

A smile forms upon my lips
While a gentle breeze passes by
I know then my wish is granted
As it carries my love to your side
