Bittersweet Goodbyes

by Aubrey   Apr 7, 2005

There are cold crimson cries
Hidden under this morbid face
There are unforgettable images
I just can't erase

The suns beating down
Blinding my shallow eyes
As tears roll down my cheek
From our bittersweet goodbyes

Remembering our times
That we use to share here
I'll never let you go
You whispered softly in my ear

Standing in the rain
As we use to do
Kissing as the rain hits our face
Saying I love you

But my whispers are to the wind
Since your not there to hear
I lay upon the cold concrete
Just wishing you were near

The sun begins to sleep
But the rain continues to fall
I'm going to try and move on
Once and for all
