Why did we have to fall apart
I loved you so much
And it hurts to know we'll never be
And that our love is done

Your words still make me melt
Just thinking of you makes me cry
And I don't have the strenght to stand
And I don't know why

Your eyes we're so brown and deep
When you looked at me
I felt as though I could see us
And that we were together and free

When you held my hand
You made me warm
I felt as though you would never let go
And that you'd always love me so

But at times your words were also mean
You said very harsh dreadful things
That made me cry all night
And always feel like letting go

I still can't make believe
You are so far away from my heart
Though I can still feel your touch
Now I know that isn't enough
