    With a prayer on my lips,
    a kiss goodbye.
    Turning away,
    so she won't see me cry.

    I tried to be strong
    it was her request.
    No sorrow or tears
    it's all for the best.

    hi Holly, wow you really made a hit with this poem, and you said you had writers block, shucks woman, this is as good as it gets, I am sorry you lost your friend, I know it is hard to imagine life without them, but we carry on and cherish the fond memories, I am glad too see you writing again, keep it up. as always your friend Harry
