Curse

by Emma Carnage   Apr 11, 2005

There's a curse upon my head
Perhaps I've had it all my life
And I'll have it until I'm dead
The dreaded curse of the knife

It comes in phases but it never goes
It'll let me rest, give me time to revive
But my peace of mind it soon throws
Every time it's back it leaves me barely alive

Perhaps I'll never stop it
Maybe it will cause my death
But I can't seem to quit
It will steal my last breath

I'm not the only one bound
By these straps of blood
I'm not the only one around
Caught in this flood

Countless friends of mine
All have the same curse as I
All our bodies intertwine
Until we must say good-bye
It will all be divine
Once we have to die

We are all cursed, some more than other I suppose. I am astounded by this poem, it's unique, but at the same time relative enough that most people can understand it. 5/5 definitely
    Luv always, KT
