My Addiction

My addiction drives me crazy,
Always wanting more.
It can never stop,
Always on my mind.
I can't go a day without it.

My addiction,
Like ecstasy running through me.
Can't help but want it,
Feeling like you can't live without it.
As if I could die.

My addiction
Makes me feel happy and
Sad at the same time.
Confusing yet understandable,
No cure for my addiction.
I'll always want it.

My addiction
Is helping me yet
Hurting me all at once.
This addiction of mine
Will never leave.
I will always be addicted.

Living in a fantasy
Of me and my addiction.
This bond between
My addiction and I,
So strong.
Although I keep saying no,
I want to say yes.
I don't want it,
But I can't help it.

I'm already too deep,
Can't pull me out now.
This addiction of mine
Sucking me in like quicksand,
Never letting go.
My addiction, is you.

    thanks. this is actually my second poem that i wrote that doesn't rhyme because i usually write poems that rhyne but i thought i'd do something different for a change. glad you liked it
