Allowed

Touch me
you're allowed
look in me
staring out from a distance
you'd hear my cry
if you'd only listen

kiss me
you're allowed
tell me
who should I be
to make you love me?
you're allowed

can't you see me?
can't you hear me
crying out loud?
touch me
kiss me
love me
you're allowed

don't you know
I'd be your flashlight
on the lonliest road
on your darkest night
don't you know
I'd never lead you on
or make you feel left alone
I won't lose you
and I won't let go of your hand

take your hands
and cover me
turn my cheek
dry my eyes
with your fingertips
and kiss me

I'll be the one
to brush away your hair
when it's in your eyes
I'll be the one to
kiss away your fears
and hold your heart
with the stake of my life

I'd never let you down
and when you're
silently screaming
I'll know
and I'll be around
if you let me
if I'm allowed

..A plea like that
shouldn't be this hard..
