Not meant to be

I gave to you my heart,
all you did was break it in half.
I wanted you to take care of it,
make my heart n yours a whole.

You were selfish,
You pretended you cared,
you even said you loved me.
But it was all a lie.

Sometimes I dream of you doing what i always wish you did.
Then I wake up and realize that you will never be able to do it.
It just hurts so much,
to love someone so much and all they do is break your heart.

I just found out,
That you are not a lover but a fighter.
All you do is hurt people and then blame others or even me.
I want to hate you for that, but i just can't.

There's something in me that doesn't want to let you go.
I don't know why,
but this is way too painful for me,
I don't think i could put up with this no more..

I just got to understand,
that we are not meant to be,
we are from two whole different worlds.
And there is nothing i could do to ever change that.
