Her

by Blacksand   Apr 20, 2005

Her smile is liquid sunshine,
bringing warmth where ever it shines.
Her voice is so sweet and so fine,
its better than the grandest of wines.

Through her eyes shine the happiest soul,
that this world has ever seen.
It makes me fill as if I'm whole,
all my gaps filled with love in-between.

For her I'd give my life,
and die with a smile on my lips.
When she's gone its like having a knife,
plunged into my heart as it rips.

In my life I have only one fear,
only one thing at which my heart shakes.
Its that God will take that which is dear,
and leave me adrift in loneliness wakes.
