Trust is a Must

I have many different feelings
and different ways of letting them show
I always think of what I should say
should I say yes to this or should I say no

Is this going to get me in trouble
I will always ask myself inside
will my parents be disappointed
asking me what I've done with my pride

I'm going to be very honest
and no longer will I ever lie
I want my parents to be able to trust me
so as long as I have to, I will try

I will try to do whatever I can
to succeed in my number one goal
because without my parents trust
my life isn't completely whole

so someday I hope to fulfill this goal
and walk around with my head up high
knowing that my life is wonderful
because I will no longer lie

I hope my parents can soon believe me
and give me their complete trust
going through life with that
to me, it is definitely a must!
