Love Kills Too

by Ashley   Apr 21, 2005

Love kills.
Tears your heart in two.
Takes little pieces of your heart away.
Even if most are found,
One will still be gone.
I gave my heart to you,
And you took some of it with you.
Scissors cut,
Knives stab,
But love kills.
With each passing love you lose a part of you,
Insides die.
Eventually you lose all of you and you die too.
Broken pieces like a puzzle,
Missing one piece and it can’t be completed.
Losing blood,
Turning black and blue;
Dies from the abuse love puts you threw.
A punch here,
A stab there.
A rip here,
A cut there.
Falling apart,
Broken;
Shattered like a vase.
Love dies,
You’ll die too.
From love maybe…
It kills you.

Outsides numb,
Insides dying.
Tears are falling,
Heart is broken,
But into too many pieces to put it together again.
Blood stops,
Hope rises.
Heart shatters more,
You die.
Fly to up above,
Your heart mends.
Everything starts all over again.
Fall in love,
Doesn’t work out.
Heart cracks,
You cry.
Feelings collide,
Emotions rise.
Tears fall dry,
Blood turns blue.
You start to heal,
But find someone new.
Fall in love again,
Starts to kill you alive.
Processes continues,
Punch, stab, slice.
Blood everywhere,
Heart slows down.
Love kills you,
Your heart dies black and blue.
Love doesn’t last,
And if you think it will,
Then neither will you.
Don’t get your hopes too high…
Everything dies.
