Sandcastle of love

by trubbled   Apr 22, 2005

My sand castle of love
Is no bigger than my hand
But in comparison to hate
Is the size of the universe

With walls of friendship constructed to outlast eternity
The base sculptured out of trust which no man can break
Shells are the windows to happiness, harder than rock.

Caring is what holds up the sandy delicate roof
And sharing is what opens the rustic seaweed door
Love is the foundation that holds it all together
While hate, betrayal and dishonor are washed away on the shore
