SUN AND MOON

by Jessica   Apr 23, 2005

WHEN I WAKE YOU YOUR THERE WITH A SMILE,
YOU THERE TO WAKE EVERY CHILD,
YOUR SOFT WARM BLANKET,
BEGINS TO COVER THIS TOWN,
MAYBE YOUR GORY WILL MAKE MY DAY,
AFTER THE DAY HAS BEEN GONE,
YOU DISAPPEAR AND HIDE AWAY,
A NEW FRIEND IS WAITING,
HE IS JUST A SMALL LIGHT,
HE SHOWS ME THE WAY,
EVEN THE SMALLEST THINGS HAVE A DAY.

I AM JUST TRYING OUT THE NATURE POEMS SO PLEASE COMMENT ON MY POEM.
