Hopeless

by ~*Sad Girl*~   Apr 30, 2005

I see the same girl walking down the halls,
She looks as if she wishes to blend in with the walls.
She has many emotions running through her head,
She wishes that morning she had stayed in bed.
Her days are so long,
They seem to go on and on.
As she sits in class,
She reminisces about the past.
She thinks about when her Mom died,
Oh how much she cried.
She thinks about how much she has changed,
And how her thoughts are deranged.
Thought of suicide fill her head,
She fantasies about being dead.
Only a few friends have stuck by her side,
The rest always go run and hide.
She wishes for the voices in her mind to go away,
She drinks to keep her feelings at bay,
She's tried to stand tall but she has begun to sway,
She always says "Why does life have to be this way..?"
She realizes she has so much to gain,
All she has to do is get rid of her pain,
The next day I see her walking down the hall with no shame.
She walks with her head held high,
Now she has pride,
She's happy she didn't die...
