Sometimes I think it was a joke,
that you said you loved me,
You act like you don’t care at all
don’t you think I see…

Some days you can be just fine,
and others you’re just wrong
I think you played me for a fool
did I know this all along?

Why do your friends despise me,
It’s not their game to play
they act like I’m the devil
what can I do or say?

And so dear, did you trick me?
I guess I’m no soul mate
But don’t you go forgetting
the line’s fine between
love and hate
