with that chick down the line.
they say they're just friends,
and that its fine.
i want to trust him,
when hes with her.
because every time I'm around him,
he makes my words slur.
i need to trust him,
when he tells me,
"she's just my friend"
"and WE are meant to be."
can i trust him,
to tell me the truth
or to call me
from that nasty phone booth?
i want to trust him,
when he tells me he loves me,
because even they think,
we were supposed to be.
i need to trust him,
when he tells me he'll call
because without that trust,
i would fall.
can i trust him,
that he will be all right
with that chick
for the night?
i want to trust him,
when he tells me that I'm cute,
because if he lied,
he's nothing but a fruit.
i need to trust him,
when he tells me,
"I'll be there,
even for tea."
but most of all,
i need him to trust me
that i would never
cheat on him with three.
(or 2 or 1)
i thought of this when my b.f was with "his friend" nd i now know that i CAN trust him
