My Loss

I never thought I would do this, but I have to move on,
it is too hard to love someone, who's love for you is gone.

I never wanted it to end, especially this way,
I wish our love would have lasted, I miss you every day.

I can't, anymore, think of my love for you,
it drives me crazy that you don't love me, and there's nothing I can do.

It couldn't have been you, it was something I had done,
but I thought with our love so strong, it was something we could overcome.

You were always so perfect, I guess it was to good to be true,
I tried to be perfect too, but I could never measure up to you.

Even though you don't care, you always have a place in my heart,
if you ever need anything, you know were you can get a fresh start.

I had it so good with you, I should have done my part,
it's too late, your done with me, and unfortunately I can't restart
