He just lets go

by Robert S. Velez   May 2, 2005

“He just lets go”

A road of torment
A search for light
A child who was born
To always fight
A child conceived
Of nothing but hate
A lesson he learned
Pain doesn’t discriminate
The things he does are not for show
He just has to let his emotions go
The hate, the fury, the fear, the pain
Knowing he just can’t go home again
He looks to his past and says his goodbyes
But then the memories come and bring tears to his eyes
He looks to the stars and wonders why
A voice from no where
“Your living to die”
Born to a path of a darker fate
Shaped with talents he loves to hate
He sits in the darkness without a sound
Hoping, praying he’ll never be found
A normal man would have been crushed or willing to fall
But than again a normal man….I am not at all
