My Marriage

by Nikolle   May 3, 2005

Marriage isn't always a one way street
It always takes two, a constant defeat,
Vows we take-promises never ending
Make them real, don't make them pending.
My heart, body and soul, I gave to you
I thought my love, you did too.,..
As days go on, our love grows less,
All I wanted was a warm caress.
A simple hello, a tender kiss,
These are the things, I surely miss.
Tears of pain, happiness and sorrow,
I need your love today and also tomorrow.
WE sometimes forget each others needs,
Insults are flying, the other pleads,
Take back the words, they sound so cruel
Treat me like your woman, not your fool
Can't you remember the laughter we once shared,
Two people in love- how much we cared...
Our time is running out I can see,
But I will always for once loving me.
So, if this is where your heart is leading,
Let's stop this now, this hate we're creating.
You go your way and I'll go mine,
Don't let the hurt last, I think it's time
We say goodbye let our feelings end,
I hope in you, I still have a friend...
