No Name

by Emma Carnage   May 3, 2005

I want to tell you how I feel
I want to tell you that I'm here
I want to tell you I need you so
I want to tell you I love you more

But you don't even know my name

I've seen you in the hall
With your new girl of the week
I don't know her name
Just another dumb blond
Just another nice body
Just another prep
I forgive you though
If you just glance my way

I try not to make it obvious
As I watched as you kiss
I can tell from a distance
That you must be great
Because it's all so smooth
Like an artist at work

Every week or so
You get another girl
Just another what's her face
That you forget in a month
Once you move onto her friend
But that's okay
Just as long as I'm on the list

You don't know my name yet
But do you even know hers?
That girl you're with
Kissing ever so sweetly
Names aren't important
As long as you say you love me
For at least a day

I want you to tell me how you feel
I want you to tell me that you're here
I want you to tell me you need me so
I want you to tell me you love me more

*Just to let you guys know, this is actually about nobody. I just thought it up on the spot. Tell me how I did for it all being made up.*
