I heard them say women are weak
Yet your heart has the strangest strength
A might too wonderful for me to speak of,
Your brevity all the more breathtaking

Life has a way of making things happen
Lovely to watch \"nature ordained\" take it\'s course.
‘Tis mystery, \'tis glorious and \'tis haven
I am a captive to my emotions, and it has a force

Can it be ruined even by mistakes not bargained for?
What is this love to die for anyway?
Hard to see in principle the magic, ‘tis reality
A thing to fall for, a thing alive.

You have given me more than I asked for
Providence has provided all I\'ll ever need
Your comely poise, elegant standing tall
Against the crested blue sky.

In the midst of crisp music and the dance
You ignored and denied the detractors
What is it you saw, which I didn’t?
You must have camped with the wise and simple.

They want to take you away, far away
Saying I am not deserving of any bit of you
Ha! You laughed them in the face
Cause \"that is an imagination\" far from truth

I foresee a legacy to be talked about
A covenant stone to be envied
A truth to be sought for in days ahead
We sure have some treasure to pass on

I wonder, I wonder!
I marvel that you are reality
In our time and days
Unbelievably true, and I love you

You will remain in my heart,
There a place lies vacant for you
A hallowed place my folly almost gave another
A sacred ground meant for only one.

I guess I will live with the pains
That I meddled with what is divine
Tempered with great things beyond me
Treasures mighty for my stubbornness to carry

How heaven struggled to right my wrong
Was painful though, but not as the wounds I caused
Living such life is only known with the godless
Here I am meddling with all abandon.

O God! My God! I need your saving grace
Be at work to clean me up and put me back
Let me be the pride in your heart in our time
Let my rising bring hope for the many lost.
