Where is the Moon?

by Daniel Moses   May 3, 2005

I went up the stairs
One night late in the hours
To adore the greatest pleasure
That's come in the name of Nature.

The Stars were shining bright;
Soothing Breeze adding to the delight
Composed tunes for me to hark
And for the Trees to dance in the dark

The Sky lacked its usual splendor yet
With the Moon hiding its light.
The night Traveler's absence did disappoint
However, from it, a truth I learnt.

"Men come and men go like
Waves in the Seashore of life!
Only they're remembered - who reach heights
And make their absence, a true loss!"
